JDB Scholarship History
The Jenett D. Boldin Scholarship Program was created in 2017 to honor and continue the legacy of Jenett D. Boldin. She was born in raised in Montgomery, Alabama. As a student she attended Hale Elementary School, Houston Hill Jr. High School, Booker T. Washington High School, and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School (renamed Percy L. Julian High School) in 1972. As First Lady of Striving for Perfection Ministries, she was known for being a cheerful giver. She believed in the power of education and encouraged all she encountered to pursue their educational goals.
